Planned Power Outage

SOULES CHAPEL, HOLLY LAKE, LITTLE MOUND AND PINEY WOODS AREAS AND A SEPARATE OUTAGE FOR BIG SANDY

***URECC MEMBERS IN THE SOULES CHAPEL, HOLLY LAKE, LITTLE MOUND AND PINEY WOODS AREAS***
We’d like to inform you of a planned power outage scheduled for Monday, November 17, 2025, beginning at approximately 4 P.M. The outage is expected to last around 2 hours and is necessary to complete essential system upgrades and repairs. There will also be a separate outage for the Big Sandy Area for Monday morning, November 17, 2025, as we perform essential maintenance on our system. The outage will start at 10 AM and last around 2 hours. While there’s never a perfect time for a planned outage, this time frame was selected to minimize disruption to as many businesses and schools in these areas as possible, allowing them to continue normal operations.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as both crews complete these important improvements.

***URECC MEMBERS IN THE DIANA AREA NEAR ENGLISH LANE*** We’re aware of the outages in this area and have crews on the way to begin restoration shortly. According to a report from the Gregg County Sheriff’s Office, an accident involving an 18-wheeler caused the outage. At this time, the full extent of the damage is still being assessed. Once our crews have evaluated the situation, they’ll work as quickly and safely as possible to restore power. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
