Our offices will remain closed on January 28, 2026. Although the offices are closed, member service representatives will be answering phones, operations personnel will begin storm clean up, and line crews will be on standby to respond to outages if they occur.

The safety of our members and employees is our top priority. Hazardous road conditions required the drive-thru to be closed. The drive-thru is now open and available for member use.

Crews remain in the area actively working to restore power. So far, several devices have been replaced, and additional locations are still being inspected. Our crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore service to all affected members. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Soules Chapel Area

***POWER OUTAGE UPDATE- URECC MEMBERS IN THE SOULES CHAPEL AREA.***

Crews remain in the area and are working diligently to restore service. This outage is impacting the entire substation, which is why the outage numbers remain high. The tree that fell landed on transmission line between Little Mound and Soules Chapel. Due to the terrain, a swamp buggy is required to safely access the site and complete repairs. Additional equipment and materials have been delivered to support restoration efforts. Our crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power to all members. Thank you for your continued patience.

Crews have identified the cause of the outage, which was a fallen tree that damaged power lines. They are currently gathering the necessary tools and materials and will begin repairs shortly. Our teams are working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

***URECC MEMBERS IN THE SOULES CHAPEL AREA- POWER OUTAGE UPDATE***
Crews remain in the area completing repairs. At this time, they are finishing a pole replacement and making repairs to three additional poles, as well as securing and restoring the lines in the area. Crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
