***URECC MEMBERS-1 pm POWER OUTAGE UPDATE*** Our crews continue working diligently in the areas impacted by recent outages. Early this morning we had 9,208 members without power. At this time, fewer than 1,330 members remain without service. Crews have replaced 14 broken poles so far, but have identified several more that need to be replaced. We want to extend our sincere thanks to our outside contractors, J&L and Bowie-Cass, for their valuable assistance during this restoration process. Pittsburg Area: Contractors are currently replacing three damaged utility poles and picking up wire to restore service in the area. Cox & Leesburg Areas: Steady progress is being made as crews work to replace broken cross arms and restore power to affected members. Remaining Service Territory: Crews are actively working across all other regions, addressing individual outages as quickly and safely as possible. Important Safety Reminder: Please stay clear of any downed power lines and treat all lines as if they are energized and dangerous. We understand the challenges extended outages can bring, and we truly appreciate your patience and support as our teams work around the clock to safely restore service. To report an outage or service issue, please contact us through the SmartHub app or by calling 903-680-2100.

Additional storms are expected later tonight and into the early morning hours. These may cause new outages or impact current restoration efforts, so outage numbers may continue to fluctuate.
We urge everyone to stay weather-aware and to never approach downed power lines, as they may be energized and dangerous.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work to safely restore power as quickly as possible.
