***URECC MEMBERS IN THE MT. EARA AREA.*** Beginning today, our contractor, Osmose, will be in the area conducting routine pole inspections. You may see their trucks nearby, which will be clearly marked with their logo, our logo, and the word “Contractor.” This work is expected to continue over the next couple of months. ***UPDATE-URECC MEMBERS IN THE NESBITT AREA***

Crews are continuing to work diligently to restore power to the area. At this time, they are installing new switches and completing critical repairs. The outage caused significant damage, and it’s important that all repairs are fully completed and tested before the line is re-energized to prevent further issues.

Please know our crews are working as safely and efficiently as possible to restore service. We truly appreciate your continued patience, support, and understanding during this time.

Power Outage Update

**UPDATE- URECC MEMBERS IN THE NESTBITT AREA***
Crews are on site and have identified the cause of the outage. An electrical fault caused power to arc to a nearby steel structure, resulting in equipment damage. Crews will need to replace a faulty regulator along with damaged switches and insulators. They are currently assessing the full extent of the damage and gathering the necessary materials to safely complete repairs.
This outage will take some time to resolve, but crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore service. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process.

***URECC MEMBERS IN THE DARCO AREA*** We would like to inform you of a scheduled power outage for Thursday morning, December 18, 2025, as we perform essential maintenance on our system. The outage will start at 8 AM and last around 4 hours. We know there’s never a perfect time for a planned outage, but this schedule was selected to help minimize disruption. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this work to help improve reliability and service for our members.

At a cooperative, money saved is YOUR money. It is money that you may see again in Capital Credits or lower bills. In an effort to save costs to our members, improve efficiency, and reduce hours spent preparing billing, URECC is reducing billing cycles from 10 per month to 5. You may notice a slight change in your statement and due date. Also, due dates will be extended from 16 days to 20 days from your statement date. These cycle changes are effective December 1st and do not apply to Prepay accounts. Please contact Member Services for further questions.

Lobby Closure
