Power Outage

***URECC MEMBERS-8:30 AM POWER OUTAGE UPDATE***

Our crews have been working around the clock to restore service to members impacted by the recent storm. At this time, just under 5,000 members remain without power. The majority of the damage we’ve encountered has been caused by strong winds.
We’re grateful to have two additional crews from J&L assisting with the restoration process, and we sincerely thank them for their support.

Pittsburg Area:
Several crews are actively addressing major outages in this region, including two contracted crews and three right-of-way crews working to clear lines and make necessary repairs.

Cox, Ebenezer & Leesburg Areas:
Damage in these areas primarily involves broken cross arms on utility poles. Crews are on-site and working diligently to replace the damaged components and restore power.

Harleton Area:
Similar to the other areas, broken cross arms are the main issue here. A specialized crew equipped with a swamp buggy is working to make repairs on a double circuit
line.

Remaining Service Territory:
Crews are progressing steadily across all remaining areas, addressing individual outages as safely and quickly as possible.

⚠️ Safety Reminder:
Please stay away from any downed power lines. Always assume they are live and dangerous.
We truly appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we work to restore power safely and efficiently.
