Power outage update

***URECC MEMBERS IN THE HALL, JEFFERSON AND GETHSEMANE AREAS***

We experienced equipment failures that affected the transmission lines serving the area, resulting in outages that began this morning and continued through the late afternoon.

Crews worked diligently to make the necessary repairs, and service has now been restored by backfeeding the area from an alternate power source in coordination with AEP. At this time, crews continue working to repair the transmission lines that were the original cause of the outage.
