URECC has been notified of a scam call targeting one of our members. The caller requested verification of autopay and banking details and appeared to be calling from 1-888-259-2525.
Please be aware: URECC will NEVER ask for your full banking information over the phone, demand immediate payment, or threaten to disconnect your service immediately.
We encourage everyone to share this information with friends, family, and especially seniors in our community who are frequently targeted by scammers.
If you receive a suspicious call, hang up and contact URECC directly at 903-843-2536 or 800-259-2536.
