URECC has been notified of a scam call targeting one of our members. The caller demanded immediate payment for a large past-due balance and threatened service disconnection if payment was not made. The calls originated from the following numbers: 903-234-7351 and 363-999-3427.
Please be aware: URECC will NEVER demand immediate payment or threaten to disconnect your service immediately.
We encourage everyone to share this information with friends, family, and especially seniors in our community who are frequently targeted by scammers.
If you receive a suspicious call, hang up and contact URECC directly at 903-843-2536 or 800-259-2536.
