URECC has been notified of a scam call targeting one of our members. The caller falsely claimed to be working with URECC and offered a $150 bill credit in exchange for verifying personal information. The calls were reported as coming from 903-706-4184.
Please be aware: URECC will NEVER call and ask for personal or financial information, demand immediate payment or threaten to disconnect your service immediately.
We encourage everyone to share this information with friends, family, and especially seniors in our community who are frequently targeted by scammers.
If you receive a suspicious call, hang up and contact URECC directly at 903-843-2536 or 800-259-2536.
