We’ve been notified of a phone scam targeting Upshur Rural Electric Cooperative members. Scammers are calling members and demanding immediate payment or threatening to disconnect electricity. ⚠️

👉 Please remember: URECC will NEVER call and demand payment over the phone or threaten immediate disconnection without proper notice.

✅ If you receive a suspicious call:
•    Hang up immediately
•    Do NOT give out personal or payment information
•    Call us directly at 903-843-2536 to verify your account status.
