***SCAM ALERT – URECC MEMBERS***
We have been notified by members about a scam involving individuals posing as URECC representatives. The scammers claim a payment of $1,500 is required—often involving a Walmart gift card—and may send a barcode via text message, instructing the recipient to scan it to complete the transaction. The fraudulent calls are coming from 1-888-693-8863 EXT 1001, and victims are threatened with meter removal if they do not comply.
Please remember: URECC will NEVER demand immediate payment or threaten disconnection without proper notice.�Stay alert, and help protect others by sharing this warning—especially with senior citizens who may be more vulnerable to such scams.

Ways to Pay

URECC makes paying bills easy and convenient for its members.
Payments for your electric bill may be made in several ways. You have several options as to which is most convenient to you.
Power Pay - This is a way to pay your bill with NO convenience fees! You can find this on both our Smart Hub app and our website.
Bank Draft -
By paying with bank draft you have no convenience fees, and you know what day your bill will be paid every month. You can sign up through our URECC App, or download the form here:
Online - You can pay through SmartHub by clicking on the green button at the top right of this page, or download the URECC SmartHub App here:
By US Mail -
Please use the envelope provided with your bill.

By Phone -
Use our free and secure, automatic pay by phone system. Simply dial 855-939-3744 and follow instructions. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express or you can pay with an electronic check.
MoneyGram -
Go to the MoneyGram website to find the closest bill pay location to you. For faster posting, make sure to use the BLUE Express Payment Form and use receive code 15153. If you are paying at a form free location, use the Red MoneyGram phone.
VanillaDirect Pay -
This new payment option allows you to pay your bill in cash using a barcode found on your SmartHub app or electric bill. It can be paid at local retailers such as Dollar General, Walgreens, and more.
Kiosks -
Our office is located at 1200 W. Tyler Street in Gilmer. Two kiosks are located in the lobby and available during normal business hours. There is also a kiosk to the left of our main entrance and a fourth kiosk located in our drive thru area. Both of these kiosks are available any time.
Drop Box -
Available in the drive thru 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
